FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville community is grieving the loss of Tykese Aerian McFayden, 23, who was fatally shot early Monday morning in the 1400 block of Tangora Lane. Authorities reported that the shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. and involved an altercation between individuals who knew each other. McFayden was pronounced dead at the scene, while another man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized.
McFayden’s sudden passing has left family, friends, and neighbors deeply saddened. Loved ones remember him for his presence, relationships, and the moments shared.
