In Loving Memory of Aumarea Kutraveon Luckey Hudspeth

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio community is grieving the tragic death of Aumarea Kutraveon Luckey Hudspeth, 26, who was fatally shot Sunday night at a residence off Flying Hooves Road near Loop 410 and South Foster.

According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Hudspeth died from injuries sustained in the shooting, which occurred just before 9:30 p.m. Police said the incident began as a dispute involving a woman and her ex-boyfriend, who arrived at the home and became involved in a physical altercation with another individual inside the residence.

During the confrontation, one man opened fire, striking three people. Hudspeth was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was shot in the arm and remains hospitalized, while a third individual was also injured by gunfire. Authorities reported finding several firearms inside the home.

Detectives spent hours interviewing multiple witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, and it remains unclear whether the shooter will face charges.

Hudspeth’s death has left family, friends, and neighbors in mourning, highlighting the devastating toll of gun violence on the San Antonio community. Loved ones remember him for his life and the impact he had on those around him as they seek comfort and strength during this painful time.
