SPENCER, N.Y. — The community is mourning the tragic loss of Logan Williams, 25, who died early Friday morning following a single-vehicle crash in the town of Spencer.
According to New York State Police, the fatal crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. on January 23 along Van Etten Road. Troopers responding to the scene found a sedan that had left the roadway, entered a culvert, became airborne, and then rolled over.
Emergency crews from the Spencer Fire Department and Spencer EMS arrived quickly and performed life-saving measures on Williams, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was transported to Robert Packer Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not released additional details at this time.
As family, friends, and loved ones grieve this sudden and heartbreaking loss, the Spencer community is remembering Logan Williams and mourning a life cut far too short.
