In Loving Memory of Michael Wale

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — The community of Denham Springs is mourning the loss of Michael Wale, 69, who was tragically killed in a four-vehicle crash Monday evening.

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. on January 12 at the intersection of South Range Avenue and Hazelnut Street. According to the Denham Springs Police Department, Michael was one of four drivers involved in the crash.

Investigators reported that a Ford F-250 traveling northbound crossed a mountable curb divider for reasons still under investigation and collided with a Nissan Maxima and two additional vehicles. Michael Wale suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police stated that the drivers of the other two vehicles involved sustained minor injuries. Authorities do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. South Range Avenue was closed for several hours while emergency crews cleared the scene and conducted the investigation.

Michael’s sudden passing has left family, friends, and the entire Denham Springs community grieving a life lost far too soon. He will be remembered for the impact he made on those around him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
