In Loving Memory of Adrianna and Adam Sanchez

PHELAN, Calif. — The Phelan community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of two siblings, Adrianna Sanchez, 25, and Adam Sanchez, 18, who were killed in a devastating head-on collision Friday morning on Highway 18.

According to witnesses, a tan Cadillac sedan was traveling eastbound on Highway 18 and attempted to pass other vehicles on the left when it collided head-on with a dark gray Tesla sedan traveling westbound. Both vehicles became fully engulfed in flames upon impact. Three occupants across both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene, including Adrianna and Adam Sanchez, residents of Spring Valley Lake.

The siblings’ family shared their grief on a GoFundMe page, writing, “With heavy hearts, we share the loss of our beloved children, Adrianna and Adam, who were taken from us in a tragic car accident through no fault of their own. Our family is doing everything we can to honor their lives and lay them to rest with the love and dignity they deserve.”

The family said the GoFundMe will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, allowing them to focus on remembering Adrianna and Adam and supporting one another during this incredibly painful time. They expressed gratitude for the support, prayers, and kindness they have already received from the community.

The loss of Adrianna and Adam has left family, friends, and the Phelan community grieving. Both siblings are remembered for the joy, love, and light they brought to the lives of those around them, and their memory will be cherished by all who knew them.
