The Simpsonville and Pelzer communities are mourning the tragic loss of Lindsey Nicole Case, a 31-year-old woman whose life was suddenly and heartbreakingly cut short in a motor vehicle crash on Monday, January 12, 2026.
According to authorities, Lindsey was driving along Fork Shoals Road at the New Harrison Bridge when she was involved in a two-vehicle collision at approximately 4:20 p.m. While attempting to turn onto Fork Shoals Road, her vehicle was struck. Lindsey sustained fatal blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:44 p.m.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office ruled her death an accident, and an external examination was scheduled for January 13, 2026. The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
