TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple community is mourning the tragic loss of Cynthia Stanford, 62, who died in a vehicle accident on Monday afternoon near Highway 317 and Airport Road.
According to the Temple Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 3:24 p.m. and found a white SUV that had rolled over. Preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 317 when it left the roadway near Airport Road, entered a ditch, and flipped over. Emergency crews pronounced Stanford dead at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
Stanford’s sudden passing has left family, friends, and the community grieving a life lost far too soon. Loved ones remember her as someone whose presence brought warmth and meaning to those around her.
