Robby Isbell, 38, of Pell City, Dies in Jefferson County Crash

PELL CITY, Ala. — The Pell City community is mourning the tragic loss of Robby Isbell, 38, who died following a crash on Interstate 20 in Jefferson County on Friday morning.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred around 9:50 a.m. near the city limits of Leeds. Isbell was driving a Ford F-150 when the vehicle departed the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned. Authorities reported that he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. A passenger in the vehicle was also hospitalized and is recovering.
