CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The Bradley County community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Andrew Carroll, a student-athlete at Bradley Central High School, who died unexpectedly on Friday, January 30, 2026, following a car crash, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department.
Andrew was a beloved member of the Bradley Central football program, where he was known not only for his athletic talent, but for his character, leadership, and loyalty to his teammates. Coaches and players described him as a fierce competitor, a brother on and off the field, and a young man who represented his school and community with pride.
Bradley County EMS shared that Andrew’s passing is the kind of loss that ripples far beyond those who knew him personally, noting the Carroll family’s deep roots, service, and commitment to others within the community.
As students returned to campus, Bradley Central High School made grief counselors available to support students and staff during this difficult time. Friends, classmates, and community members continue to share tributes remembering Andrew’s kindness, strength, and positive spirit.
