FORDYCE, Ark. — The Fordyce community is mourning the loss of Jerron Lucus Sr., who was tragically killed in a shooting early Sunday morning during a private gathering in the city.
According to the Fordyce Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 3:00 a.m. at a residence where a 40th birthday celebration was taking place. Upon arrival, they found Jerron Lucus Sr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
