According to authorities, the deadly shooting occurred at approximately 8:22 p.m. at a residence located at 1160 Forest Villa Drive in Conyers. Officers responding to a report of a person shot found Kaleb inside the home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by first responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Investigators have identified Amir Johnson, 21, of Conyers, as the suspect in the shooting. Johnson is currently wanted for Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault, and authorities believe this was an isolated and targeted act. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
