In Loving Memory of Angel Galindo

MIDLAND, Texas — The Midland community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 26-year-old Angel Galindo, who was tragically killed in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, Jan. 31, 2026, in Winkler County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred around 6:25 a.m. on State Highway 302 near mile marker 214. Galindo was traveling westbound in a GMC Sierra when the vehicle veered into the eastbound lane for unknown reasons and collided with a 2025 Ford F-250. He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Winkler Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries and was also wearing a seat belt.

Angel Galindo will be remembered by family, friends, and the Midland community for his warmth, generosity, and the positive impact he had on everyone who knew him. His sudden passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his loved ones and those who cherished his friendship and spirit.
