KEOKUK, Iowa — The Keokuk community is mourning the loss of Danielle Renea Clark, age 35, who was found deceased Saturday morning, bringing sadness and heartbreak to those who knew and loved her.
According to the Keokuk Police Department, Danielle was discovered unresponsive in the 1300 block of South Seventh Street and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities have stated that there were no visible signs of life-threatening injuries, and the circumstances surrounding her passing remain under investigation. An autopsy will be conducted by the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner to help determine the cause of death.
Danielle was a lifelong resident of Keokuk and will be remembered for her presence in the community and the lives she touched. Those closest to her are grieving an unexpected and profound loss, and friends and neighbors continue to offer support and prayers during this difficult time.
Law enforcement officials have indicated there is no danger to the public, and the investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
