GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating a death after a man was found deceased Saturday morning in the 3800 block of Patterson Street.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 7:27 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, after receiving a call for service. Officers were joined by Greensboro Fire Department personnel and Guilford County EMS.
When first responders arrived, they located Justin Ryan Massey, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirmed that next-of-kin have been notified.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding Massey’s death, and the investigation remains ongoing. Officials said the case marks Greensboro’s second homicide of 2026.
