In Loving Memory of Brileigh Janae Dailey and Kyler Dailey

CLYDE, Texas — The Clyde and Baird communities are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Brileigh Janae Dailey, 19, and her brother, Kyler Dailey, 16, who died in a tragic train-truck collision Sunday afternoon, Feb. 1, 2026.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the siblings were traveling in a pickup truck when it was struck by an oncoming train at a railroad crossing along FM 18. Both Brileigh and Kyler were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their sudden passing has left family, friends, classmates, and an entire community grieving unimaginable loss.

Brileigh was a 2025 graduate of Clyde High School and was remembered for her years of involvement in softball and cheer. Kyler was a junior at Clyde High School, where he played football and competed in track. Both were active members of Beltway Park Church in Abilene, deeply involved in their youth groups, and known for their faith, kindness, and bright spirits.

Those who knew Brileigh and Kyler describe them as vibrant young lives with promising futures — siblings who shared a close bond and brought joy wherever they went. Their loss has left an ache that words cannot fully capture.

As the family navigates this devastating time, the community has rallied in prayer and support, honoring the lives of two young people who will be forever remembered for the light they brought into the world.
