It is with deep sorrow that family, friends, and the Myrtle Point community mourn the tragic loss of Bryce Randall, 25, whose life was taken far too soon during a fatal shooting in Coquille, Oregon, in the early morning hours of February 2, 2026.
According to authorities, North Coos 911 received a report of a disturbance at a residence near Highway 42. Deputies arrived to find Bryce suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate and life-saving efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say a confrontation occurred and escalated, resulting in gunfire. George Jones, 31, of Coquille, was arrested later that morning and charged with second-degree murder. The incident remains under active investigation.
