COLONY, Ala. — The Colony community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Felicia Morgan, 37, and Carthel Morgan, 63, who were found deceased on February 3, 2026. Their sudden passing has left family, friends, and neighbors grieving deeply.
The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting the Cullman County Coroner’s Office in an active death investigation in the Colony community. At approximately 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the two individuals were discovered inside a van at a residence. Authorities have stated that there is no evidence of foul play, the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no danger to the public. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
