SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — One person has died following a shooting Tuesday night in Spartanburg County, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at approximately 9:02 p.m. to a call initially reported as an accidental shooting on Farm Creek Road. Upon arrival, officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead about an hour later.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 21-year-old Skyy Ernestasjah Logan, a resident of Farm Creek Road. The coroner is scheduled to conduct a forensic examination Wednesday morning to determine additional details surrounding her death.
