The Spring Lake community is mourning the tragic loss of Donald Snow, 65, who was killed in a stabbing incident on February 4, 2026, at his residence on the 2500 block of E. Brinkley Drive.
Donald was pronounced deceased at the scene after the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of the stabbing early that morning. He was a valued member of his community, and his passing has left family, friends, and neighbors heartbroken. His next of kin have been notified.
Authorities have identified George Snow Jr., 68, also of Spring Lake, as a suspect wanted for First Degree Murder in connection with Donald Snow’s death. George Snow Jr. was last seen on foot near E. Brinkley Drive wearing a black, blue, and white jacket, black and white plaid pajama pants, and white sneakers. He is described as having white hair and a white beard.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office emphasizes that this incident does not pose an ongoing threat to the public.
