In Loving Memory of Tony Parker, Jr.

GREENVILLE, Miss. — The Greenville community is mourning the tragic loss of Tony Parker, Jr., 21, of Greenville, who was shot and killed on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in the 1900 block of Lowe’s Road.

According to the Greenville Police Department, officers responded around 3:49 p.m. to a report of a person lying in the roadway. Upon arrival, they discovered Parker had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Family members positively identified him.

Investigators also confirmed that Parker’s 2022 Toyota Camry was stolen during the incident. The following day, February 4, the vehicle was found abandoned near Causey and Baskin Drive. Authorities are currently working closely with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Attorney’s Office to process evidence and investigate the homicide.

Chief Marcus Turner, Sr., expressed his condolences: “Our prayers and sympathy are with the family and friends of Tony Parker, Jr. We are committed to processing every piece of evidence to bring justice and closure to this family. We encourage anyone with information to come forward.”

Community members are urged to report any tips related to the case anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (662) 378-TIPS (8477). Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
