Woman Killed in Crash Involving Dominion Energy Truck in Fauquier County

FAUQUIER COUNTY, Va. — A 47-year-old woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a collision on Meetze Road, just south of Warrenton, authorities said.

According to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported at approximately 3:22 p.m. on February 5 near the intersection of Old Meetze Road and Rodgers Drive.

Investigators say a southbound Toyota Corolla, driven by Stephanie Miller of Midland, Va., collided with a large pickup truck operated by Dominion Energy. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured and did not require medical treatment.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office.
