In Loving Memory of Mark Nevells

The community of Surry, Maine, is mourning the tragic loss of Mark Nevells, 47, of Brooksville, who died in a fatal three-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon, February 6, 2026.

According to the Maine State Police, troopers responded at approximately 2:44 p.m. to a serious collision on Blue Hill Road. Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2015 Subaru Forester traveling northbound crossed the center line for reasons still under investigation and collided with two southbound vehicles—a 2018 Honda Fit and a 2024 Ram 2500.

Mr. Nevells, the driver of the Subaru Forester, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The drivers of the Honda Fit and the Ram 2500 were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated and later released. No additional injuries were reported.

The crash remains under active investigation by the Maine State Police, and further details have not yet been released.

Mark Nevells’ sudden passing has left family, friends, and the broader Maine community grieving. He is remembered as a valued member of his community whose life was cut tragically short.
