SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — It is with profound sorrow that we share the tragic loss of Steve Joseph Munson, 19, of Leesville, South Carolina, who passed away on Sunday night, February 8, 2026, following a motorcycle crash on Highway 9 near Dakota Street.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 10:30 p.m., where Steve was pronounced deceased following a collision involving his motorcycle and a vehicle. His sudden passing has left family, friends, and the community devastated, mourning a young life taken far too soon.
Steve is remembered as a bright, promising young man whose presence touched those around him. Though his time with us was tragically short, the impact of his life and the memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten.
