Pike Township Crash Claims Life of Zanesville Man

PERRY COUNTY, Ohio — A fatal single-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon has left the Perry County community in mourning.

Investigators report that Larry Dennis, 52, of Zanesville, was driving westbound on Tunnel Hill Road when his truck left the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and then a tree, sustaining significant damage.

Emergency response

First responders arrived at the scene and transported Dennis to Genesis Hospital in Somerset with serious injuries. He later died at the hospital.
