BUCKEYE, Ariz. — A 52-year-old construction worker has died after being struck by a loader vehicle at a job site in Buckeye on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Buckeye police, Luis Valdez, 52, was hit by a loader being operated at a construction site near U.S. 80 and Miller Road on Feb. 11. Emergency crews responded to the scene, but Valdez did not survive his injuries.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances leading up to the incident. It remains unclear how the collision occurred or whether any safety concerns or other factors contributed.
