In Loving Memory of Brandon Christopher Jamieson Nichols

LONDON, ON  — The community is mourning the tragic loss of Brandon Christopher Jamieson Nichols, 45, of London, who died following a stabbing late Monday night in the downtown core.

The incident occurred around 10:35 p.m. on January 12, 2026, in the 700-block of Dundas Street. Multiple 9-1-1 calls reported a stabbing at an apartment building. Upon arrival, officers found Nichols unresponsive in a hallway. Life-saving measures were performed by responding officers until paramedics arrived. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

The London Police Service Major Crime Section is actively investigating the homicide. Authorities are asking anyone who was in the area between 10:15 – 10:45 p.m. and may have information, including dash-cam footage, cellphone video, or residential/business surveillance footage, to come forward.
