Austin Woman Identified as Victim in Northeast Austin Fatal Crash

AUSTIN, Texas — Police have identified the victim killed in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in northeast Austin as 37-year-old Daisy Josephine Nuncio.

According to the Austin Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Loyola Lane and Sendero Hills Parkway. Officers arriving at the scene confirmed that Nuncio was pronounced dead at the location.

The driver and passengers of the other vehicle involved suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have not disclosed whether any charges have been filed.

This marks Austin’s 11th deadly crash of 2026, compared to five at the same time last year. An investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
