3-Year-Old Boy Found Dead in Sacramento Home Identified

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento authorities have identified the 3-year-old boy who was found with serious injuries at a home on Thursday and later died. The child has been identified as Jeremiah Cash Carter.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to a medical-aid call at a residence on the 3300 block of Douglas Street Thursday afternoon. Despite life-saving efforts, Jeremiah was declared deceased at the scene.

The department has classified the death as suspicious, though officials have not released additional details regarding the nature of his injuries. The circumstances surrounding the boy’s death remain under investigation.
