TYLER, Texas — The Tyler community is mourning the tragic loss of 29-year-old Trevor Julian of Whitehouse, who was fatally shot Friday night during a road-rage incident on Grande Boulevard. A proud graduate of Carthage High School and a U.S. Marine, Julian’s life was cut far too short, leaving family, friends, and the community in profound grief.
According to Tyler police, the incident occurred at the intersection of Grande Boulevard and Paluxy Drive. Julian reportedly exited his vehicle, a white Tesla, and approached a white Ram pickup driven by 23-year-old Dayton Alexander Morgan of Ben Wheeler. Morgan fired a shot through the pickup’s window, striking Julian in the neck. Despite the swift response of first responders, Julian was pronounced dead at a Tyler hospital. Authorities reported there is no evidence that Julian was armed during the confrontation. Morgan was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree murder.
Trevor Julian is remembered as a dedicated Marine, a loving friend, and a young man whose character and service left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His courage, commitment, and spirit will not be forgotten.
