WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A two-vehicle crash on SR 60 on February 14, 2026, at approximately 3:08 p.m. left three people dead and is under investigation.
According to authorities, 18-year-old Adam Cornelison of Duncan Falls was driving a 2010 Mercury Milan southbound when his vehicle crossed left of center and struck a northbound 2025 Honda CR-V operated by 53-year-old Bradley Stanley of Newark. Cornelison was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Two passengers in the Honda CR-V, 29-year-old Mackenzie Lawrence and 22-year-old Brooklyn Stanley, both of Newark, were transported to Genesis Hospital. Unfortunately, both later died from their injuries. The driver of the Honda, Bradley Stanley, survived the crash.
Emergency responders from Harrison Township Fire and EMS, Genesis Community Ambulance, Zanesville Fire and EMS, Duncan Falls Fire, the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
Officials remind drivers to follow traffic laws and safety guidelines, including wearing seatbelts, to help prevent such tragedies.
