LANCASTER, S.C. — The Lancaster community is grieving the tragic loss of Jarvis Shannon, 38, who was fatally shot at a home on South Hughes Street on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Authorities say the shooting occurred around 8 p.m., when officers responding to reports of gunfire discovered Shannon suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lancaster Police Department has identified 29-year-old Korickio Cunningham as a suspect and is asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the department at (803) 283-3313. The investigation remains ongoing.
