ROSLINDALE, Mass. — The Roslindale community is grieving the sudden loss of Jude Espazien, 50, who tragically died Thursday morning, January 15, 2026, following a single-car crash in Medway.
According to the Medway Police Department, Espazien’s vehicle left Summer Street (Route 126) near Amelia Drive, struck a utility pole and a granite-bottomed mailbox, and crashed into a front yard. The car caught fire, and bystanders pulled Espazien from the burning vehicle before he was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The crash narrowly missed a nearby home.
Authorities noted the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, and the incident was unwitnessed. The Medway Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, though the exact cause remains undetermined.
