In Loving Memory of Charles Watkins

The Lebanon, Ohio, community is mourning the tragic loss of Charles Watkins, 23, who was killed early Saturday morning in a devastating crash on Interstate 71 in Warren County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Lebanon post, the crash occurred around 4 a.m. near mile marker 32 in Turtle Creek Township. Watkins was driving a 2023 Honda CR-V when his vehicle drifted off the left side of the roadway and rolled several times. He was ejected from the vehicle, landing in the southbound lanes of the interstate. Tragically, Watkins, who was not wearing a seat belt, was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
