VICTORVILLE, Calif. — The Victorville community is grieving the tragic loss of Jeremy Rosales, 14, who was fatally shot near Mojave Vista Park on Friday, January 16, 2026.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to multiple calls reporting gunfire near Glen Canyon Lane and Burwood Avenue at approximately 8:21 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies found Jeremy Rosales in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail has taken over the investigation. Authorities confirmed that no arrests have been made at this time, and the case remains active.
Jeremy’s death has left family, friends, and the Victorville community heartbroken. Residents remember him as a bright and cherished young life taken far too soon. The community continues to pray for his family and all who were impacted by this tragedy.
