It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the loss of Hector Sanchez, age 55, of Burgin, Kentucky, who tragically lost his life in a fatal vehicle crash in Boyle County.
According to the Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred Saturday morning on Shakertown Road (KY-33). Preliminary investigation indicates that Mr. Sanchez was traveling southbound when two of his vehicle’s wheels exited the roadway. While attempting to regain control and re-enter the road, the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane, where it collided with another vehicle.
Mr. Sanchez was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Boyle County Coroner. Another driver involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported for medical treatment.
This sudden and devastating loss has left family, friends, and the Burgin community grieving. Hector Sanchez will be remembered for his life, his presence, and the memories he shared with those who knew and loved him. His passing serves as a solemn reminder of how quickly life can change.
