Wesley Bolden and Jordan Hall Killed in Marshall County Plane Crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. — Tragedy struck Marshall County Sunday evening when a small airplane crashed near the Holly Springs–Marshall County Airport, killing two people, according to Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims as 29-year-old Wesley Bolden of Marshall County and 17-year-old Jordan Hall of Olive Branch, Mississippi.

Officials said the plane went down around 5 p.m. near the south end of the airport at 171 A.Q. Greer Road, landing in a wooded area east of the runway. Deputies arrived within minutes to find the aircraft on fire. Multiple local fire departments were called to help extinguish the blaze.

Due to the size of the fire, authorities have not yet determined the type of aircraft or its intended destination. Federal authorities have been contacted, and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is securing the scene while the investigation continues.

The community is mourning the loss of Wesley Bolden and Jordan Hall, and officials are urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward. Additional details will be released as the investigation progresses.
