DORA, Ala. — The Dora community is grieving the tragic loss of Brianna Hawkins, 19, whose life was cut short early Monday morning in a fatal multi-vehicle crash in neighboring Adamsville.
The crash occurred around 5:33 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 78 and Minor Parkway. Authorities said Brianna was one of two occupants in a vehicle involved in the collision. She suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency crews responded quickly, and traffic along the heavily traveled corridor was impacted as investigators worked to secure the area. Details regarding the total number of vehicles involved, the condition of the second occupant, and whether others were injured have not been released.
