Alcolu Shooting Victim Identified; Two Suspects in Custody

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities have identified the male victim found dead in an SUV following an apparent shooting in Alcolu. The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the victim as 39-year-old Randy Wing of Alcolu.

Deputies responded Thursday to the 1300 block of Pinecrest Acres after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Wing deceased inside a white Jeep Cherokee. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday to confirm the cause of death.

Since the incident, law enforcement has taken two suspects into custody. The investigation remains active, and authorities have not released further details.
