Brittnee McMillon Identified Among Two Victims in Midtown Kansas City Shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating a double homicide after two people were found shot to death in a vehicle behind an apartment building on the city’s east side Tuesday night, February 10.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 9:30 p.m. to the 1300 block of East Armour Boulevard, near Armour and Troost, following multiple calls reporting gunfire in the area. Witnesses told authorities that they heard shots coming from behind the apartment building.

Upon arrival, officers were directed to a parking lot at the rear of the complex, where they discovered a vehicle containing two unresponsive victims, a man and a woman. The woman has been identified as Brittnee McMillon. Emergency medical personnel responded but pronounced both victims deceased at the scene.

Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are actively processing the area for evidence. Authorities confirmed that information about the incident is limited at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
