EDMORE, Mich. — The Edmore community is mourning the loss of Gregory Brisboy, 59, who was tragically found dead on Monday, February 9, 2026, after being reported missing the previous day.
According to Michigan State Police (MSP), Brisboy left his home on Wyman Road near northeast Cutler Road on foot on Saturday afternoon without shoes, a wallet, or a cell phone. Concerned for his safety, his family reported him missing on Sunday.
Troopers discovered Brisboy’s body near his home on Monday. Authorities stated that “the circumstances are consistent with death due to exposure to the elements.” While the investigation remains active, MSP officials said they do not suspect foul play at this time.
Gregory Brisboy’s sudden passing is a heartbreaking loss for his family, friends, and the Edmore community. He will be remembered with love and respect.
