On Friday evening, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Denise, 68, lost her life in a tragic head-on collision on Freedom Crider Road in Beaver County. Emergency responders arrived swiftly, but she was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver involved was not injured.

Preliminary findings from the New Sewickley Police Department indicate that Denise’s vehicle crossed the center lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle. Weather and road conditions are not believed to have played a role, despite the roadway being wet at the time. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.

For several hours that evening, Freedom Crider Road was closed between Lovi Road and the Route 989 roundabout as authorities carefully worked the scene.
