In Loving Memory of Abraham Corral

YUMA, Ariz. — The Yuma community is mourning the loss of 34-year-old Abraham Corral, who died following a motorcycle crash on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office reported that the collision occurred around 9:24 p.m. at County 14th Street and Avenue B. Preliminary investigation revealed that Corral was riding a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe northbound on Avenue B when he collided with the rear of a 2014 Honda CR-V traveling ahead. Corral was ejected onto the roadway as a result of the impact.

Rural Metro Fire responded to the scene, and both drivers were transported to Onvida Health. The Honda driver sustained minor injuries, while Corral was initially in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have confirmed that next of kin has been notified.

The crash remains under investigation, and preliminary reports indicate that speed may have been a factor.

Corral’s passing is a tragic loss for his family, friends, and community. He is remembered as a valued member of Yuma whose life was cut far too soon. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
