LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Lexington community is mourning the tragic loss of Anisleys Font Lantaron, 29, a devoted mother, who was fatally stabbed in her home.
The Fayette County coroner’s office confirmed Lantaron’s identity following the incident, marking her death as the city’s most recent homicide. Police say Roberto Buffill-Paredes, the father of her child, has been charged in connection with her death. According to the arrest citation, Paredes admitted to stabbing Lantaron and subsequently attempted to clean up evidence at the scene. The citation further states that he wrapped her body in blankets “in a manner that would outrage ordinary family sensibilities.”

Anisleys Lantaron’s passing has left a profound void for her family, friends, and the community. Those who knew her remember a loving mother whose warmth and care left a lasting impression on everyone around her. Her life, though tragically cut short, was filled with love, dedication, and devotion to her child.
Her sudden and violent death has shocked the community, and loved ones are grappling with immense grief. As family, friends, and neighbors come together to honor her memory, they reflect on the joy, laughter, and compassion she shared throughout her life.
Paredes is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment hearing on Friday, January 16. Authorities continue to investigate the case as the community mourns the loss of a young life taken far too soon.
Anisleys Font Lantaron will be remembered, cherished, and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
