In Loving Memory of Becky Johnny Coleman

The Cardwell, Missouri community is grieving the sudden and heartbreaking death of Becky Johnny Coleman, 59, who was killed Tuesday afternoon in a violent two-vehicle crash on Highway 412 in Senath.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 1:13 p.m. on January 20. Investigators said a 2012 Toyota Scion tC, driven by a 37-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line of the roadway. The vehicle collided head-on with a 2023 Buick Envision driven by Coleman, who was traveling eastbound.

The impact caused catastrophic damage. Dunklin County Coroner James Powell pronounced Coleman dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.

The Toyota driver and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman from Jonesboro, were seriously injured and airlifted to a Memphis hospital for emergency medical treatment.

Coleman’s death has sent shockwaves through Cardwell, where family, friends, and neighbors are mourning the loss of a woman whose life and presence meant so much to those around her. Her passing serves as a painful reminder of how quickly tragedy can strike and lives can be forever changed.
