In Loving Memory of Brandy Nash

DRY RIDGE, Ky. – The northern Kentucky community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Brandy Nash, 35, a devoted mother of three who was killed Wednesday morning in a tragic head-on collision in Dry Ridge.

According to Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred around 11 a.m. along Taft Highway. Investigators say an 81-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles crossed into the opposite lane and struck a pickup truck head-on. Brandy Nash, who was seated in the front passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 81-year-old driver was also killed as a result of the crash.

Nash’s husband, who was driving the pickup truck, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Two of the couple’s three children were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. One child has since been released from the hospital, while the other underwent surgery and faces a lengthy recovery. Their third child was not in the vehicle.

Family members and first responders described Brandy Nash as a loving, selfless, and deeply devoted mother whose world revolved around her children. Her sudden death has left an immeasurable void in the lives of her family, friends, and all who knew her.

“This is an unimaginable loss,” one family friend said. “Brandy was the heart of her family. Her love and strength will never be forgotten.”

The crash remains under investigation with assistance from multiple agencies, including the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Dry Ridge Fire Department.

As the community grieves, loved ones are coming together to support Nash’s family and honor her memory. Though her life was tragically cut short, Brandy Nash will be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.
