In Loving Memory of Brittany Diane Dooley

ANDERSON, S.C. – The community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Brittany Diane Dooley, 33, who was tragically killed Wednesday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Blue Ridge Avenue in Belton.

According to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, first responders arrived shortly after 7 p.m. on January 14, 2026, to find Dooley and another woman inside the vehicle. Dooley was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other occupant was airlifted to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Preliminary findings indicate that Dooley was traveling south on Blue Ridge Avenue when she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The coroner confirmed her death was caused by multiple traumatic injuries and ruled it accidental. Officials noted that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Brittany’s sudden death has left family, friends, and the community in profound grief.
