In Loving Memory of Christian Deshaun Pollard

REIDSVILLE, N.C.  – The Reidsville community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 22-year-old Christian Deshaun Pollard, who was fatally shot early Wednesday morning on Madison Street.

According to the Reidsville Police Department, officers responded to the 100 block of Madison Street at approximately midnight on January 14, 2026, after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Pollard suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, but tragically, he later passed away from his injuries.

Friends, family, and neighbors are mourning the untimely passing of Pollard, remembering him as a vibrant young man whose life was full of promise. Those who knew him say his laughter, kindness, and presence brought joy to those around him, and his death leaves a profound void in the community.

“This is a devastating loss,” said a family friend. “Christian had so much ahead of him. His heart and spirit touched everyone who knew him.”

The Reidsville Police Department continues to investigate the fatal shooting. Tips may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
