ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC — The Orangeburg County community is reeling after the tragic deaths of Damon Rice, 25, and six-month-old Marco Frazier Jr., who were killed in a shooting incident Tuesday night. Their sudden loss has left family, friends, and neighbors devastated.
Authorities reported that the gunfire occurred in the 400 block of Gibson Street. Damon Rice was pronounced dead at the scene near the intersection of Summers Avenue and Amelia Street. Baby Marco Frazier Jr., who was also caught in the tragic incident, was rushed to the Medical University of South Carolina Health Orangeburg but succumbed to his injuries.
