In Loving Memory of Demarcus Hadnot

The Pollok, Texas community is mourning the tragic loss of Demarcus Hadnot, 26, who died in a two-vehicle accident on College Drive Saturday morning. Family, friends, and neighbors are grieving the sudden and heartbreaking loss of a young life taken far too soon.

According to authorities, the crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. near the entrance to the Texas Bible College. Hadnot was driving a Kia westbound when a Mercedes, driven by 65-year-old George Fidone of Lufkin, collided with his vehicle. The impact sent Hadnot’s car into the collision path, and he died at the scene. His passenger, 24-year-old Paige Turner, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Tyler for treatment. Fidone suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Tragically, a dog riding in the Kia also died at the scene, adding to the heartache of this fatal accident.


Demarcus’s passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the Pollok community. Those who knew him remember him for his warmth, presence, and the meaningful moments he shared with loved ones. His sudden death is a profound loss, and the impact of this tragedy is felt deeply by all who knew him.
