ARLINGTON, Ala. — The Arlington community mourns the heartbreaking loss of DeQuarius L. Pritchett, 32, who tragically passed away early Sunday morning, January 18, 2026, after being struck by a vehicle in Wilcox County, Alabama.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division, Pritchett was walking along Alabama 5, a few miles south of Pine Hill City, around 2:45 a.m., when he was struck. Responders pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Authorities have not yet identified the vehicle or driver involved. ALEA troopers continue to investigate the incident and have urged anyone with information to contact them at 334-675-0204.
